So, we now have tags

Took some time this weekend and added tags to the blog. So now you can look for articles by topic as opposed to just searching or looking by time frame. It should make it easier to find some topics and see what I write about the most. I hope to finally get my act together with tags moving forward. Because, honestly, it kind of sucked to add them to over 300 posts.

There are some omissions. For example, a bunch of Bob Bradley stuff didn't get tagged under "other coaches". And there's not yet a Confederations Cup tag. Elizabeth Lambert didn't get associated with "violence". And I didn't tag the articles from 2007 - those will have to wait. And I'm sure I've made mistakes, omitted some important tags, or added a few that shouldn't have been added. So I'll continue to revise over the next weeks.

Anyway, tags are now on the left ordered by frequency. If you wish to start browsing them, just about anything tagged more than 7 times except "meta" should yield awesome pretty quickly.

Surprises, I blogged more about the Sounders and DC United than I thought, WPS less than I thought. The core of this blog is probably in "marketing," "gender issues", "salary cap," and "phone calls". At some point I'll have a "greatest hits" tag so you can see my most popular posts.

Anyway, here's to easier navigation and more search traffic. As always, feedback is appreciated.
