Fake Sigi started in 2007 as a satirical look into the fake life of Sigi Schmid. It has since evolved into commentary and other literary exercises as they pertain to professional and college soccer in the United States and Canada. Frequent topics include MLS, WPS, college soccer, the US Men's and Women's national teams, other bloggers, gender issues, marketing, economics, and Kasey Keller.
